Jessica Ballance grew up in Wanchese her entire life and is an alumni of WCA. Jessica always knew she wanted to be a teacher.  After graduation she worked in a preschool and earned her early childhood credentials. A few years later she came on to teach at WCA. Over the course of five years she taught from 2nd through 4th grades.  She left for a while to stay at home and raise her daughter.  Jessica has joined us again and thrilled to be in 3rd - 4th grades.  "It has been such a joy and honor to be back at a place I call home. The school is near and dear to my heart and I look forward to what the future years hold for me as well as all the students I get the honor to be with."
